ActivateXcom-Xapi

XCom (Xymphony ™ Companion) runs on Xymphony ™ Application Program Interface (API), Microsoft Windows ™ operating system.

Xcom is an auxiliary program that works on the user's personal computer to set up a call, call transfer, call parking, conference, view port busy status, record the calls in both outbound and incoming directions, etc.

Physical connection is between user's personal computer, analog phone, DTS digital phone and Telesis IP PBX. Xymphony ™ - Telesis IP PBX system with API server and PC running Xymphony ™ - API client software must be in the same local network. There can be multiple users and client PCs served by the same Xymphony ™ - API server. Developed by Telesis, XCom is an advanced screen-based telephone dialer and a console that integrates your computer and Telesis IP system with its various features.

Settings to be made on the Telesis-IP PBX side

Enter the IP address of the subscriber's PC in the Companion IP address text box on the Common properties page of the analog subscriber or ISDN 4B + D port of the user who will use Xcom.

When Xapi.exe is clicked, enter the access code of the port in which the common properties of the port are written ip into the New companion client text box and click the New companion client (access code) button. In the new window that opens, the Registration failed message indicates that the computer where xapi runs and the ip address entered on the Telesis-IP PBX port does not conflict, so check the ip address entered into the port. You can open multiple windows for more than one subscriber.
