System messages can record in two ways;

  • 1- Use Voice message recordings feature.

Voice Message Recording

  • 2- Upload voice messages from PC

SystemMsg / Upload

You can use this page to upload System messages from a PC to the system. Select message number and press OK.

Some of these messages are used for predefined applications such as:

1. Auto-attendant scenario

2. Music on hold

3. Music on park

4. Wake up call

5. Voice Mail (VMail) scenario

Wav files to be transferred from PC to the system should be 16 bits, 8 kHz, mono in Windows waveform audio format (wave).

Message-02 Busy

Default busy message instead of the busy tone, caller can dial a new number, Applicable only for DC loop trunks if auto attendant used.

Message-04 Alerting

Default alerting message instead of an alerting (ringback) tone, if auto attendant used. To activate, checkmark Common properties/Voice message on alerting of the incoming port.

Message-06 AlertingIni

Alerting message for incoming calls if auto attendant is NOT used. To activate, checkmark Common properties/Voice message on alerting of the incoming port.

Message-07 Reminder

Reminder (wake-up) call message.

Message-08 Hold

Message (or music) on hold, played repeatedly.

Message-09 VmailSend

Voice Mailbox greeting message to be played if voice mail receiving user does not have a personal greeting message. If this message is not stored, Vmail record (default 868) law action will fail.

Message-11 VmailReceive

Voice Mailbox receive message, Played when mailbox is accessed to listen stored messages. If this message is not stored, Vmail play (default 864) law action will fail.

Message-12 VmailPending

Notification message when there are pending Voice Mails in the mailbox. Users with pending voice mail messages receive this message instead of dial tone.

Message-13 Park

Message (or music) on park, played repeatedly.

Message-14 Cyclic

Message (or music) when played, played repeatedly.

Message-16 VmailQuotaFull

Notification message when a voice mail is to be sent to a user and personal Voice Mailbox is full (out of quota).

Message-17 CamponToRoute

Notification message played when all ports in route are busy and the call is waiting for an outgoing available member. To activate Routing/Route/Campon if no channel parameter of the route should be selected as Campon with system message.

Message-20 AlertingRecorded

Alerting message instead of an alerting (ringback) tone. Played if called user marked as Common properties/Voice recorded for all calls To activate, checkmark Common properties/Voice message on alerting of the incoming port.

Message-21 VmailSendAbort

Played if the call is forwarded to a mailbox and the calling party decides not to leave a message and presses 0. Caller can dial a new number.

The remaining system messages are like ready-to-use resources. Setting routing criteria tables, callers may be routed to these system messages. System administrators should decide on criteria when to play a system message.
