SignalingInterworking

The process of interconnecting two or more individual networks to facilitate communications among their respective nodes. Note: The interconnected networks may be different types. Each network is distinct, with its own addresses, internal protocols, access methods, and administration.

Telesis systems are capable of interworking between all their digital and analog signaling schemes. Each variant of incoming and outgoing lines or users associated with a signaling system generates and receives FITEs and BITEs according to on-line, real-time procedures specified for each signaling system in relevant international standards.
