XymphonyProgramming-CAUNATSome installations also require the voice service provider to send the signaling and voice packets to a single ip address. In order to do this in a CAU system, NAT supported router must be used. What is to be done for this; 1.All AUs must be in the same LAN segment. 2.The IP address to which the router will connect to the AUs on the LAN side, must be in the same LAN segment as the AUs. 3.The IP address to which the router will connect to the service provider on the WAN / LAN side, must be compatible with the WAN / LAN side. 4.The router's LAN ip address must be entered in the default gateway on the Ethernet basic settings page of each AU. If the IP address of the service provider is class A (in the range 10.0.0.0-10.255.255.255), class B (in the range of 172.16.0.0-172.31.255.255), and class C (in the range of 192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255), The router's WAN / LAN ip address must also be entered in the gateway default LAN ip address field. If the service provider ip address is not A, B, and C class ip address, the ip address must be entered in the gateway default WAN ip address field. 5.The port range used by the AU must be routed from the router to each AU. For example, for AU 1, both TCP and UDP protocol ports 30250 to 30499 should be directed to the IP address of the AU 1. An sample scenario is shown below. ![]() . |
