XymphonyProgramming-Example1

In factory settings, subscribers use routing criteria table 0, trunk lines use routing criteria table 1.

Following the seizure of the line or subscriber going off hook (i.e. call control received SetupIndication), all address information sent by the user (either en-bloc or overlapped sending) is processed using a routing criteria table.

This analysis is date and time dependent, (i.e. for different days of the week and different times of the day, the analysis may result in different outcomes) such that:

  • 1. Law action,
  • 2. Called-party number replacement,
  • 3. Call class,
  • 4. Tariff, etc.

The law action that is decided on after this analysis may be:

  • 1. A local termination
  • 2. A trunk group from which the call is to be routed outward
  • 3. An access code of a digital/analog subscriber/trunk port available in the system
  • 4. A subscriber service
  • 5. A system service for maintenance and administrative purposes
  • 6. A system resource like integrated voice mail, or message-storage hardware
  • 7. A tone or a system message stored in the system.

Example 1

Calling the Operator group with 0, dialing trunk line with 9

Assume that subscriber 101000 and 101024 are in operator groups. In common properties of 101000 and 101024, write 127 in used in route field to assigned to these subscribers (subscribers become route member)

In factory settings, subscribers use '''routing criteria table 0, so click Routing / Table from the main page

Select Table 0 and click OK button

In factory settings, prefix 0 (0 for local call, 00 for national call and 000 for international call) use route 0.

To change prefix 0 with 9, select prefix 0 and click Edit button.

Write 9 instead of 0 and press the OK button below

Use same operations for 00 and 000

When the prefixes are finished, the routing criteria table 0 will be as shown below.

In factory settings, local calls require authorization 4, national calls require authorization 5, international calls require authorization 6.

For this reason, which subscribers will call an trunk line, they must be authorized. Authorizations are given from the account properties page of subscriber.

In factory settings, authorization of all subscribers is marked 0,1,2, For local calls, the subscriber's authorization 4 must be marked, for national calls, the subscriber's authorization 5 must be marked, for international calls, the subscriber's authorization 6 must be marked. If the authorization is marked 4,5,6 the subscriber can make local, national and international calls.

Finally select prefix 9 (R127) and press edit button

And change it with 0

WHAT IS DONE for routing table 0, prefix 0 is going to R127 (subscriber 101000 and 101024 are using route 127) and prefix 9, 90 and 900 is going to R0 (route 0)

If there is an analog trunk line in the system in the factory settings, the analog trunk lines use route 0 (R0).
