XymphonyProgramming-HowToActivateTimeLimit

to restrict the time limitation when any rule is applied, Charge pulse limit per call and Charging period(x100msec) are used in Routing criteria.

Charge pulse limit per call: An active call is disconnected by Xymphony when accumulated charge pulses for this call reaches the limit defined here.

Edit 0 in this box if you wish no charge pulse limitation for this law.

Charging period(x100msec):If needed, Xymphony can charge the calling party periodically. Edit charging period constant for this call. The multiplying coefficient for charging period constant is 100 milliseconds. To illustrate, 200 in this textbox refers to 200x100 milliseconds, that is 20 seconds.

To disable the feature, set the value to 0.

Charge pulse on connection field: Edit advance charge pulses for this call when the law action is executed.

Example

Follow the steps below to limit the duration of the call to the trunk line;

In the Routing Criteria Table used by the subscribers, select the prefix used for the trunk calls and press Edit button. If the charge pulse is received from the trunk line, write desired charge pulse in Charge pulse limit per call. The call is interrupted when accumulated charge pulses for this call reaches the limit defined here.

If no charge pulse is received from the trunk line, Edit charging period (x100 msec) constant for this call. The multiplying coefficient for charging period constant is 100 milliseconds.

When 600 is written in this field, when this rule is used, Xymphony generates charge pulse 600x100 ms=60000ms, it means Xymphony generate charge pulse for every 60 sec. and if 4 is written in charge pulse limit per call field, the call will interrupt about 3 minutes later. (Because 1 is written in Charge pulse on connection field)
