When any parameter changes are made in the exchange, these changes are stored in Nonvolatile memory, The parameters in the Non Volatile memory is deleted when the exchange restarts, so SystemPrm/Save is clicked to save the changes parameters in the volatile (RAM). Starting Factory Default Settings When the system is energized while the parameter (Param) button is pressed and the button is kept pressed until the led starts to flash, the exchange starts with the factory settings. In the factory settings, the ip address of the exchange is the same as the AU member number, so when you start the AU processor with the AU member number 1 with the factory settings, the ip address is 10.0.0.1 and the web port is 30252. When discover from the Xtools program (discover Telesis systems), the member number and ip address of the AU processor are seen. When connecting to the exchange, "Webserver" is clicked to define a new user name and password. Fill in the Login ID (username), password (password) and Password re-enter fields and press the OK button. For the security of the system, it is important not to choose a weak password. The password can consist of at least 8 and maximum 15 characters. It must contain at least one lowercase, one uppercase letter and one number.
